 Always a popular choice with holidaymakers, the range of accommodation available on Corfu is vast, suiting all kinds of visitors, particularly couples and families. Many hotels reside right next to some of Corfu's most appealing beaches, such as the Miramare Beach Hotel near the village of Moraitika, the San Stefano close to Benitses Beach, and the Ionian Coral Beach Hotel, which is located right on the Roda beachfront itself.
Budget accommodation on Corfu is not really an option, although even during the busy summer season, there are plenty of cheapish hotels and package deals often offer very competitive rates. Backpackers may like to consider the Pink Palace, a very affordable hostel found the westerly village of Agios Georgios, close to an especially beautiful beach. Relatively nearby and a mere stroll from the superb Pelekas Beach, the Sunrock Resort Hostel provides surprisingly peaceful lodging at a very competitive price.
 Corfu Hotels and Accommodation: Where to Stay - Corfu, Greece, GR
Many of the island's best hotels are concentrated around Corfu Town itself, with the cheapest options being situated within the newer area. However, many visitors prefer to look for accommodation in the town more characterful Old Town area, and if you are able to stretch your purse strings and afford a boutique hotel, you really won't be disappointed. There is even a camping site just a few miles from Corfu Town, at the Dionysus Camping Village.
Directly north of Corfu Town, the accommodation can only be described as 'variable', so do try to choose hotels carefully. Kassiopi is an especially popular and very lively tourist resort is this area and its pebbly beachfront is always thronging with tourists.
 A real favourite for many is the White House in Kalami, which features just eight guest rooms is actually the former residence of famous writer Lawrence Durrell.
Head to the south of Corfu Town and hotels are based around the resort of Benitses, and the town of Lefkimmi, where popular accommodation choices include the Maria Madalena Apartments. The west coast is home to some of Corfu's most attractive villages and countryside, with hotels close to the beaches of Agios Georgios, Glyfada, Myrtiotissa and Pelekas, and around the resort town of Paleokastritsa, where lodging often comes complete with a glorious view of the cliffs, bays and olive groves.
